以家庭为中心的入院

All matriculating students are required to complete GA’s 以家庭为中心的入院 Process.   We intentionally provide a two way process so that prospective families and students are provided with the thoughtful information they need to best understand our program, 哲学, 课程与社区.  Our goal is to ensure that our students are in the best position possible to be both happy and successful at GA by learning as much as we can about them, 并为他们提供了解GA的机会!

父母输入, school information and admission assessments help us get to know each applicant and we use this combination of subjective and objective information to assess the match between prospective students and our program.  入学 decisions are made after careful review of each applicant’s complete file.

申请-新家庭: To submit an application to GA, please start with the online 调查 form. Upon completion, you will be asked to create a password protected account in order to join our 十大体育外围平台排名入学门户. To complete the application, please submit the following forms:

• 申请费

应用-当前ga系列: 要向GA提交申请，请输入 十大体育外围平台排名入学门户 through your existing family account where you will be prompted to 添加新申请人. To complete the application, please submit the following forms:

家庭信息会: Upon submission of your application, you will be able to sign up for your 家庭资讯会. 

父之旅: 我们邀请您访问GA虚拟使用我们的 虚拟之旅, at an am@GA admission event, or when you drop off your child for their 学生访问.  

学生访问: Applicants to the 6th Grade will spend 1 day visiting in the 6th Grade to experience GA's 中学.  我们五年级的社会访问是可选的.  Applicants to 7th and 8th Grades will spend 1 day in the 6th and 7th Grades respectively.  The 学生访问 also includes the 学生面试 and the Otis Lennon Assessment.

老师的建议: We require two 老师 recommendations: one from your child’s current 数学 老师和一个从他们现在 英语/语言艺术 老师.  Families may submit one supplemental recommendation if they so choose; this is welcome but not required.

Teacher Recommendation information is held in the strictest confidence between the evaluator and 十大体育外围平台排名. 父母/Guardians provide the evaluator with permission to complete this confidential form by sending it directly to them. 家长/监护人将无法访问此信息. 老师的建议 will not become a part of a student’s permanent record.

记录: We require current and past school records for each 中学 applicant.  This information helps us to understand the academic growth and development of your child over time.  Please remember that an application is not complete until we have the most recent grades.

入学测试: 申请我们中学的学生必须提交 一个 下列的:

决策: 入学 decisions are made with the best interest of the child in mind. We strive to ensure that our applicants will be equally successful and happy at GA. Our decision notification for 中学 begins in December and we continue to fill spaces until our class is full (please see 入学时间).
